Location is great in the heart of historic central.

Location is great in the heart of historic central. Air conditioned well. Staff friendly.

The bar downstairs disco until after midnight, not easy to sleep. No hot shower equipped only one knob for cold water.

Very little.

Very little. The balcony was nice.

Where to start? The room had no windows. The bed was hard as a board. No breakfast included. The absolute worst thing was that it is located above a club where music blared until at least 0300. I forfeited my second night and moved to Casa Victoria close by. Much nicer, excellent breakfast. I warned off two women from staying there. Do not stay there!

It is a great location, with comfortable common areas. Not very restful.

Very noisy. Our bedroom was next to the kitchen, which was supposed to be open until 10:30, but people went in at any time, turned on the light, which shone onto our room. The staff started getting ready at 6:00 am in the kitchen, so not very restful. The inside of our bathroom cabinet had some grafitti done in sharpie.

Very nice hostel

- location is awesome, right next to the centre - very nice and helpful personnel - cleaning every day - actually the hard bed that people complain about was really, really comfortable, but it's just my opinion, I always liked it

- sleeping was nearly impossible because of the club next to the hostel, the nights were very noisy until 2 or 3am, not sure if it's like that all the time or just during the weekends - no windows in the room!

I ENJOYED SOME OF IT' LOCATION - STAFF, HELFULNESS. COULDNT WAIT TO LEAVE SO I COULD GET REST...

staff was very helpful' i speak little espanol' but they tried, to use what english they could.... i needed a microwave to have some late night popcorn,and a very nice gentelman on staff showed me the kitchen and told me anytime i could use....also called me a taxi for airport' and helped me with luggage @ 5am.

I am not sure i would stay @ this place again! The music from the bar went loud all through the night'' a bar next door apparently..Extremly loud..Very difficult to sleep through it! I didnt bother to complain, Because it doesnt seem as there is much the staff can do! Im sure its not their choice to hear it all night either! the difference is I paid for 3 days of loud noise'' i didnt sign up for..And while i was pleased with the area' and staff! I am extremely disapointed by the loud noise! And i wouldnt recomend it for that reason.for A FAMILY..YOU WILL GET VERY LITTLE SLEEP at Night!Its a little late to move out once youve paid for your room. The management' has to do something about the loud music next door ' or the Owners.? Or lots of business will be lost after the fact...people cant rest quietlly which would be sad, great location, and staff, But needs improvement.NoLOUD MUSIC''WAKING UP CUSTOMERS''WE DIDNT SIGN UP FOR IT..

The staff was friendly and attentive.

The staff was friendly and attentive. Location was great, close to all. We were there over New Years and it was a 3 minute walk to the festivities. The central park had iguanas, slothes, monkeys, loro,etc LOWER FLOOR was always comfortable AC.

Lots of stairs. Since it is in the center of the action and the hotel has great acoustics bring a top grade shooting range earplug if you want to sleep before 3am. Related most tourists talked very loud and echoed so earplugs or sleeping meds.

So, so, I guess I knew about the main issues from other reviews so I cannot complain.

Air conditioning was great. Location is excellent, especially if you plan to go to any of the salsa clubs in the area, just a short walk away. Shared kitchen is basic but was very useful.

Room with no windows. Very noisy at night when the club downstairs is active, until 3 AM. Bed is super, super hard, extremely uncomfortable. I was asked to pay via Paypal rather than with the credit card and had to ask for a receipt multiple times, I never received it even though the front desk committed to providing it.

The only place for Cartagena

Was exceptionally clean. They cleaned the entire property, including rooms, every day with fresh towels and sheets. Great location right near the clock tower and next door to an amazing club. Nice people, even had a computer with printer for us to print out bus tickets (for free).

Our room smells like moldy due to zero ventilation in the room. The bed is super hard and not comfortable at all. The hotel located next to a bar so we hear loud music all night. Stay away !!!
